The study handes The Demographic- Socio- economic Factors affecting on female fertility in
Gezira state. The study aimed to know the effects of The Demographic- Socio- economic on
fertility in Gezira state. The study used the historical, the descriptive, and the analytical method. The data was collected by questionnaires which was distributed to citizens through a random
stratified sampling, the samples is (150), beside the observation. the data has been analyzed by
using electeronical schedules (excel). The study used (SPSS) program to analyze the results. The
study revealed that: The state of health effects women's fertility (67%) of the sample of the
study admitted that, (55%) agreed that women's education effects fertility, (67%) confirmed that
women's work effects fertility, (70%) confirmed that rural woman have more children than urban
woman. The study recommended that: Paying attention to women's health and opening primary
health care centers, interest in women's education, providing job opportunities for woman,
educating rural woman about the importance of birth control.
