الملخص

The study aims to know the reality of the growth trends and urban expansion of the
city in this freedom (4208/9891) and the reasons for the expansion and growth in
those trends. The importance of the study is satisfied by the fact that population is
an essential element for humans. It also clarified the impact of expansion on
agricultural lands and other various land uses in the city and its environs. From AlDhahir Al-Raiqi, the study used the historical, descriptive and analytical statistical
methods. Among the tools for collecting data are secondary sources represented by
references and reports, in addition to primary data represented by questionnaires,
observations and interviews. The study reached the most important results: that
urban growth is directed towards the northwest and south and the west and north in
relation to the flat, plain land and with the main roads leading to Khartoum and
Kassala. The results are separated by a semicolon, and the most important results
reached by the study are mentioned. Thus, the growth is consistent with the theory
of sectors, and the city began to grow vertically due to Economic recovery and the
emergence of services and real estate offices. Musa Al-Sudari, as follows: Taking
advantage of financial spaces within the city and converting them into private
residential plots and waste dumping areas (libraries). Encouraging investment in the
field of real estate in cooperation with companies and commercial banks, by
establishing office complexes and converting them to individuals in the form of
towers so that the expansion is vertical.
