الملخص

The study aimed to identify the using of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
applications in teaching Arabic language at the university level, and discovering the
challenges facing faculty members and students, and anticipating prospects for
developing their integration. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach; the
study was conducted at Faculty of Education, University of Al-butana (Sudan) during
the year 2025–2026. The study population comprised of ten (10) instructors and of
(56) Students from batch (9). Data were collected via a validated questionnaire and
analyzed by using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results
revealed a high degree of implementation for the reality of AI use (mean = 2.43), the
challenges encountered (mean = 2.51), and the proposed development methods (mean
= 2.65). Furthermore, no statistically significant differences were found in responses
based on gender or status. Based on these findings, the study recommended providing
suitable technological infrastructure, training both faculty and students on effective
and responsible AI use, and establishing university policies that support the optimal
integration of AI in education.
