الملخص

The study aimed to identify the attitudes of professors at the University of AlButana toward using inf
ographics as a teaching method, and to explore the reasons for some professors' lack of enthusiasm f
or using them during lectures. It also sought to identify the challenges associated with using infogra
phics, as well as to determine whether there are statistically significant differences in the use of infog
raphics attributable to (gender), (course/track), and (the faculty where the professor teaches) (scienti
fic faculties) (literary faculties). To achieve the study's objectives, the descriptive analytical method was used. The study population consisted of all professors at the University of AlButana Sudan, tota
ling (267) professors. The study sample comprised (45) professors, selected using simple random sa
mpling. The instrument was a questionnaire specificalldesigned for this purpose. To statistically pro
cess the data, the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used. The study reached the
following results:• The attitudes of University of AlButana professors toward using infographics as
a teaching method were high, with a mean score of (2.76 • The reasons for some professors' lack of
enthusiasm for using infographics as a teaching method during lectures were moderate, with a mean
score of (2.09). • The challenges associated with using infographics were moderate, with a mean sc
ore of (2.37). • There were no statistically significant differences at the (0.05) significance level in t
he use of infographics as a teaching method from the professors' perspective according to the variab
les of (gender) and (course/track) (the faculty where the professor teaches).The study recommended:
organizing training courses and workshops for faculty members to familiarize them with infographic
techniques in lecture planning; providing all necessary technologies and infrastructure for the succe
ssful implementation of infographic techniques; and encouraging professors in both scientific and lit
erary courses to use infographics. The study also proposed suggestions for future studies
