الملخص
The study aimed to identify the reality of using (digital) images in university
education and its role in enhancing e-learning for applied departments. The study
followed the descriptive analytical approach. The study population consisted of
students of the Faculty of Education at the Universities of (Gezira - Butana - Kassala - Sudan University of Science and Technology) (2024 AD(. The study sample
consisted of (153) male and female students. The data were analyzed and processed
using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study reached several
results, the most important of which are: The degree of use of digital images in elearning in applied departments is large with an arithmetic mean of 2.72; The degree
of importance of using digital images in e-learning in applied departments is large
with an arithmetic mean of 2.45; The degree of obstacles to the use of digital images
in e-learning in applied departments is moderate with an arithmetic mean of 1.29. The
study recommends the necessity of: paying attention to the use of digital images in elearning in applied departments in their fixed and moving types, holding periodic
training courses for teachers to master the latest modern methods in the use and
processing of digital images in the educational process, Working to overcome the
obstacles facing the use of digital images in e-learning.
