الملخص

The study aimed at identifying the reality of teaching English to basic stage
students and its relationship to some variables. The study population consisted of
all basic stage schools - in Al-Manaqil locality for the academic year (2021 - 2022)
)222(teachers; The study sample consisted of (98) randomly selected teachers.
Data were collected, analyzed and processed through the Statistical Package for
Social Sciences (SPSS). The study reached several results, the most important of
which are: the degree of personal difficulties related to the student in teaching the English language subject is large, the degree of educational difficulties related to
the student in teaching the English language subject is large, there are no
statistically significant differences in the difficulties related to the student in
teaching the English subject according to the study variable (type ). The study
recommends the following:The need to pay attention to teaching the English
language course from the first grades in the basic stage as a basic subject, to hold
training courses for teachers to familiarize them with modern trends in teaching
students, the need to pay attention to students’ problems, needs and requirements
in the English language course, to provide language laboratories that will allow
students to apply the practical application of the English language Being the
language of communication.
