This study aimed to examine electronic banking and its role in improving the quality of
banking services. The study aimed to determine the role of electronic banking in increasing the
reliability of banking services, its role in increasing security and privacy in banking services, and
its role in improving the speed of banking service delivery. The study population consisted of
banks operating in Al Qadarif State. The sample was selected using simple random sampling and
comprised (55) respondents chosen from the total study population. A questionnaire was
designed, and data was collected, analyzed, and the hypotheses tested using the Statistical
Package for the Social Sciences (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences ‘SPSS’). The study
reached several conclusions, including: The application of electronic banking contributed to increased trust in banking services; electronic banking contributed to providing more reliable
banking services; and the application of electronic banking led to improved speed and accuracy
of banking services. The study recommended the banks should use more of electronic banking
applications to provide accurate information about customer accounts; the banks should continue
to develop and update of electronic banking applications to reduce the likelihood of errors; and
continued development and updating of the security systems used in electronic banking
applications
