الملخص

The study aimed to determine the level of attitudes of preschool teachers toward using the
Montessori method to develop social interaction among kindergarten children in East Gezira
locality, Rufa’a city, Sudan, during the academic year 2024-2025. It also sought to identify
statistically significant differences in the average attitudes of preschool teachers toward using the
Montessori method for kindergarten children, attributed to the variables of educational
qualification, practical experience, training, and type of kindergarten. To achieve the study
objectives, a descriptive-analytical approach was employed using a questionnaire as the data
collection tool. The study sample consisted of 60 kindergarten teachers, representing
approximately 50% of the total population of 120, selected through simple random sampling. For
statistical data analysis, the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software was
used. The study concluded the following results: The level of attitudes of kindergarten teachers
toward using the Montessori method to develop social interaction among kindergarten children
was significantly high. There were no statistically significant differences in the average attitudes
of kindergarten teachers toward using the Montessori program attributable to the variable of
educational qualification. There were no statistically significant differences attributable to the
variable of practical experience. Statistically significant differences were found related to the
training variable, favoring those who received training. No statistically significant differences
were found related to the type of kindergarten. One of the primary recommendations of the study
is the necessity to improve preschool teachers’ attitudes toward using the Montessori program
through experience sharing, encouragement, and organizing training courses aimed at enhancing
professional competencies.
