The Force Schema in S.T. Coleridge's ( Kubla Khan ) : A Cognitive – Perspective Study .

The developments in linguistic studies are contributed to the enrichment of all
sciences, especially those related to mental or cognition study. An image schema is
allowing for as an energetic form of readers perceptual border and mechanical
drivers that shows stability and arrangement to people's skill .This mental
possessions shows a great role in enabling the associates of community to be
dynamic / quiet speakers / hearers participants in everyday life locations . A
practical part is unified in this study to analyze selected the poem ( Kubla Khan )
from romantic poetry to explain how it works . The study has been aimed to
understand image schemata in cognitive linguistics generally , To make useful
analysis in S.T. Coleridge's ( Kubla Khan ) by using some models . The reason
why this study employs this poem. The study has been recommended to make
more useful analysis in many literature fields by using image schemata. It usually
recommends to read and form a new models to help the readers for understanding
the subject . The study includes five chapters that precedes by an abstract . Chapter
one refers to introduction. Chapter two shows theoretical background of image
schema (Force ) . Chapter three has been methodology and procedure. Chapter
four makes an analysis numbers of definitions , forms and type in Coleridge's poet
. How the Force schema is structured , created and then worked linguistically to
analyze Force schema in Coleridge's poem. Chapter five refers conclusions ,
findings and recommendations .
