الملخص

This study aimed to identify the attitudes of parents towards psychotherapy and
identify the differences in attitudes according to some variables (parent-age type),
the researchers used the correlational descriptive approach, and the sample size
(100) of the parents, including (43) parents and (57) parents and mothers, were
selected by simple random sample, the researcher applied the measure of parents'
attitudes towards psychotherapy, and to analyze the data, statistical methods were
used, including test) T (for one sample and test) T (for two exploited samples and
Pearson's correlation coefficient and analysis of variance). The results showed that
the parents' attitudes towards psychotherapy are characterized by positive. There are
statistically significant differences due to the gender change in favor of females.
There are no statistically significant differences due to the variable age, and the
researcher also made a number of recommendations, including the need to train health cadres of psychologists to find out the use of correct psychotherapy methods
in hospitals and psychological counseling centers
