Methods and Means Used in Training Programs to Aware the Fishermen, Red Sea State, Sudan

The fishing sector contributes significantly to food security, job creation, and foreign exchange in many developing countries. A survey was conducted in the Red Sea State in the year 2019 and 2020. The goal of this survey is to investigate the methods and means of extension training programs for develop the fishermen, as well as to identify the social characteristics of fishermen. There are 231 samples in the study. To gather study samples, a simple random sample was used. Questionnaires and field surveys were utilized as key data gathering methods in the study. SPSS is used to analyze data and Excel. According to a survey, 57.1% of responders age category 30- 60, 68.4% are married, the vast majority of respondents refuse to accept any kind of assistance. Organizations provided the majority of help, with 14.7 percent, 28.6 % taking training in manufacturing net and repair, and 27.3 % of respondents believe training helps them save time and effort. The study recommended that, Develop the methods and means that employed to creation of high-level change. Increase the number of training opportunities available to help the community improve. Conducting further research and studies on the fisheries extension to raise fishermen communities.
