Abstract

This study aimed to shed light on the teachers’ roles and responsibilities in
facilitating the process of classroom interaction at basic level schools. The
objective of this study is to find out the importance of the (Teachers’) roles in
classroom interaction. The methodology adopted is the descriptive-analytical
method, for data collection, instrument that used is the questionnaire for the
teachers, SPSS program is used to analyze the data. The study findings and results
revealed that all the teachers (100%) know the value and the importance of
classroom interaction, and also it has been found that the usage of attractive
techniques and materials help pupils to understand and then to interact. The study
recommended that: teachers must play their different roles effectively, and they
should follow techniques that can attract the pupils to interact during the English
language classes.
