الملخص

The study aimed at identifying the economic problems encountered by secondary
school students in Northeastern, Kenya. The researcher adopted the descriptive and
analytical method as it is the most appropriate methods in the human sciences and
the nature of the study. The questionnaire was a tool for collecting information and
the number of study samples was 117 students and one year old (10%) In the
random class manner of the indigenous community of adults (1170) the sample of
the study (83) teachers and taken by (10%) The random class way of the original
community of 800. The data was analyzed through (SPSS) program, and the study
reached a number of results, most notably include: lack of competence among
many teachers, which negatively reflects on the educational level of the students.
The school curriculum does not meet the needs of students and depend on
memorization and retrieval. Examinations do not take into account individual

differences among students, thus leads to failure. Students acquire artistic
activities, motor and manual skills, but overcrowding of students in the classes and
the students’ lack of commitment to homework leads to poor academic
achievement.
