الملخص

This study aimed to identify industrial security among employees at the
Ministry of Electricity and Dams. A sample of (n=75) workers were selected
through simple random sampling from four companies: electricity transmission
company, electricity distribution company, hydro and thermal generation company.
The researcher used descriptive analytical method, and designed industrial security
scale. One sample t-test was used, and after statistically analyzing the data, the
study reached the following results: The general characteristic of industrial security
among employees at the Ministry of Electricity and Dams – Khartoum HQ was
high. Effective training on implementing occupational safety and security
procedures and rules in the HQ of the Ministry of Electricity leads to achieving the
goals. The availability of safe and healthy working conditions in the HQ of the
Ministry of Electricity increases the level of employee’s performance. Prevention
of occupational hazards increases the morale of employees at the HQ of the
Ministry of Electricity and Dams. Finally, the study concluded with a number of
recommendations, including: Necessity of placing a supervisor in the workplace to
monitor the employees and provide the necessary advice and instructions.
