الملخص

Muslims paid attention to the post and organized it because it was the eye
through which the Caliph look at the states conditions, and through it one could
know the news of the enemies and their movements. "Muawiyah" bin Abi sufyan
was the first to organize the post office so that the country,s news from all its sides could rush to it . it is a permanent monitoring device for governors and workers, so
the state was keen to develop its means Merchants and messengers played a major
role in gathering information. Muawiyah bin Abi sufyan supervised this device
himself and the leaders who were providing him with information so that he would
be fully informed of what was happening in the state.
In this research, we will learn about the post Office and its relation with the
intelligence apparatus in the Umayyad state during the period from (666- 057 AD)
through an introduction, three axes, and a conclusion. In the introduction, the
research talked about the topic, its divisions, and the approach that was followed.
the first axis touched on the definition of the Diwan linguistically and
terminologically, and the second axis Intelligence dealt with language and
terminology, As for the third axis it talked about the relationship between mail and
intelligence. In the conclusion, the researcher discussed the most important results
and recommendations of the research, and followed that with a list of sources and
references on which the research was based. we ask God Almighty for success and
payment.. He is the Guardian of this and the One who is capable of it, and praise
be to God, Lord of the worlds.
