الملخص

This research aims to study the various aspects of the issue of Palestinian
prisoners in Israeli prisons, focusing on how the occupation deals with prisoners
through policies of detention and torture. The significance of the research lies in its
provision of an in-depth academic understanding of the issue of Palestinian
prisoners in Israeli prisons by examining the legal and humanitarian violations they face. It also helps in understanding the methods and means used by Palestinian
prisoners to resist oppressive policies inside the prisons, and sheds light on human
rights violations, contributing to efforts to improve the humane treatment of
prisoners in Israeli prisons. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical
method, which is the most suitable for studying the issue of prisoners in Israeli
prisons. The study's findings show that Palestinian prisoners are subjected to severe
human rights violations, including physical and psychological torture. Furthermore,
Israeli policies towards prisoners have led to a deterioration in their physical and
mental health. The study recommends increasing international pressure to conduct
independent investigations by human rights organizations to monitor the conditions
of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons, and emphasizes the need to enhance
support for human rights organizations that document violations within the prisons
and provide legal and psychological support to Palestinian prisoners.
