الملخص

This study, aimed to know the huge Sudanese movement during the Mahdist
Revolution and its economic, political, social and cultural effects. The study
problem lied in the extent to which the movement has transformed from its public
image to its individual image and its social, political and cultural impact. The
importance of this study showed that the movement was widespread and included
all parts of Sudan. The study used the historical descriptive analytical method. The
study reached to several results the most importance of which were :, the
migration in its beginning was a religious migration. The study recommended the
following: studying, the population movement during the Turkish-EgyptianSudanese rule
