الملخص

Today’s world is witnessing rapid technological transformations that have
directly impacted higher education institutions, where digital transformation
and the implementation of electronic systems represent one of the fundamental
pillars for developing the administrative and academic work environment. This
study reviews how digital transformation and electronic systems have
influenced the performance of admissions and registration deanships, focusing
on Al-Neelain University. The paper discusses the most prominent electronic
systems adopted by the university, such as the electronic registration system,
the financial system, the learning management system (LMS), the results
processing system, the student services portal, and the academic certificate
issuance system. The analysis results showed that these systems contributed to
enhancing the efficiency of administrative performance, facilitating academic
processes, reducing errors and administrative congestion, and ensuring the
continuity of service provision even under exceptional circumstances such as
the war in Sudan.The study relied on an analysis of statistical data extracted
from admissions and registration systems, in addition to a critical review of Al-
Neelain University’s technical experience. This study reflects the pivotal role
of digital transformation in enhancing the quality and sustainability of
university services and presents a model that can be replicated in Sudanese and
Arab universities
